The Perseverance of Thomas Alva Edison
When
Thomas Edison was a boy he was very smart kid that always wondered about how
everything worked.as a kid he did many experiment’s.as a child he also got into
lots of trouble too. But in the end he became one of the world’s greatest
inventors. The day he died the president told everyone to turn off everything
for one hour

Edison as a boy wondered about a lot of things.poeple thought that Thomas was
mental for asking questions. So Thomas mom took him home and home schooled him.
While Thomas was being home schooled he started doing experiment’s. He got in
trouble because one time he almost blew up his house. He even put one of his
friends in the hospital. Thomas ended up getting a job to pay for his
experiments. He got a job being a sales man on a train. But got kicked off of
the train because he almost made the train catch fire because of his
experiment.

the age sixteen Thomas was given the opportunity to be a telegram guy.But he
was still experimenting .Thomas was fascinated by the telegrams he also got
interested in electricity Thomas read every book about electricity. Then Thomas
started doing experiments on electricity. But Thomas was fired shortly after
being hired because he spent too much time experimenting When Thomas was
finished with that he change from experimenter to inventor. Then he gathered all
of the best craftsmen and scientist. The first thing he invented was the
phonograph this was much simpler than the telegram it allowed people to actually
talk to each other from a distance. His second greatest was the electric light
bulb this allowed people to work in the night. Then he invented the first silent
movie. The silent movie made a romantic night for couples .After a while of
creating awesome stuff he died at the age of 84. The president asked everyone
to turn off all electronics for one hour.

Edison was teased a lot as a child and adult .Thomas got fired three times
before becoming a inventor. But in the end he ended up being one of the best
inventor’s ever.so the lesson we learn is never give up.
